Did you read our setup guide about how to to create invoices in different languages? If you haven’t read it yet, please click here to read it before reading this guide.
Let’s say that you have activated English and German in your store:
According to this setup:
Customers from Germany will receive their invoices in German.
Customers from the United States and the United Kingdom will receive their invoices in English.
The rest of the world will receive their invoices in English since your “Default” template is also English.
All text fields are inline editable and the default template can be translated into any language. For example, you can quickly translate it into German by replacing the words. You can also separately customize your English and German invoice templates from the “Customize Templates” section.
What about countries like Luxembourg?
Luxembourg has 3 national languages. Luxembourgish, German and French. It is not technically possible for us to detect the visitor’s native language. Because of this reason, your customers from Luxembourg will receive the default template as an invoice.
