Most popular multi-currency apps are integrated with Simple Invoice. If you are using the Coin Currency Converter or Bold Multi-Currency app, you can create invoices in multiple currencies.
If you have activated automatic invoice delivery functionality of Simple Invoice, your customers will receive their invoices according to the currency they select during the checkout.
You can always manually download and print your invoices in different currencies regardless of your customer’s currency selection. To do that, you need to visit the order details page of the order and change the currency from the left menu.
If you are using Shopify Payments, you can use Shopify’s own multi-currency system, there is no special configuration needed.
If you aren’t using Shopify Payments, you can install the Coin Currency Converter or Bold Multi-Currency app from the Shopify App Store and follow the steps below.
Step 1: Log in to your Shopify store and click on the “Apps” from the left menu.
Step 2: Click on “Simple Invoice” and after that click “Settings”.
Step 3: Select the multi-currency option you would like to activate and click on the “Save” button from the upper right corner.
Step 4: Navigate to “Online Store” and click on the “Themes”. You’ll see your published theme on the right. Click on the “Actions” and after that select “Edit Code”.
Step 6: After you save your Shopify theme, place a test order in your Shopify store by selecting a currency different than your main Shopify store currency.
